Space Use Terms and Conditions

BOOKINGS

In booking the Sprout Hub space you agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this document and via the online form. Submitting a booking request on our website does not mean it is automatically confirmed, we will get in touch to confirm if the date is available and that we can meet your request. Once confirmed, payments must be made prior to your event (unless otherwise organised with us). Please make sure you factor in the time it takes to set up and pack-down in the hours you book. If you have booked out of regular hours you will be sent access information closer to your event date.

CANCELLATIONS

Donations and bookings are non refundable. We may be able to transfer your booking to another day and time, however, we require 2 days’ notice of the change in order to accommodate.

HOUSEKEEPING

Please look after our space. It is for the community to enjoy. Please return the space to its original setup post-event and place all trash in designated bins. If you have brought food and beverage please ensure all food scraps are cleaned and disposed of in the bins outside. Table spray and cloths are located in the labeled cupboard.

Sprout Hub reserves the right to charge for repair or replacement of any equipment or furniture that is damaged or lost during the space hire. Sprout Hub cannot be held responsible for personal belongings. Do not leave belongings unattended at any time and remove all of them at the end of the event. Please give any unclaimed personal belongings to Sprout Hub for lost-and-found. Found items are kept for 14 days.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Everyone at the Sprout Hub has the right to be treated with courtesy and respect. Anyone engaging in the following behaviour will not be welcome at Sprout Hub: antisocial behaviour, theft, vandalism, discrimination in any form, including the use of inappropriate language, illegal drug taking, intoxication, photographing or filming without permission, and/or not following the directions of the Sprout Hub team. Sprout Hub, Lendlease, and Bean Roasted staff are responsible for the safe and proper operation of the space, their directions and instructions are to be followed at all times.

ACCESS and KEYS

If you are given access to the hub via a key or code, including any alarm codes, it is your responsibility to keep these items and information safe. For keys. you will be required to sign off upon receipt and return of the key.

You must only access the areas agreed upon, and strictly make sure non of your attendees enter behind any counters or cafe areas for health and safety.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We want Sprout Hub to be safe for everyone

involved. Do not remove or move furniture from Sprout Hub, use of open flames or tamper with the building safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, light fixtures, and fuse boxes. Please report any problems with equipment to Sprout Hub immediately.

PUBLIC LIABILITY

When booking you will be required to hold your own public liability insurance. If you do not hold public liability insurance you will need to complete a risk assessment form. Your booking may be declined if the event is deemed unsafe or high risk. Enquire for more information.

SMOKE FREE / ALCOHOL FREE

We are a smoke and alcohol-free environment, these activities are not allowed within Sprout Hub or on the grounds including the deck, garden, and the sidewalk, or directly in front of the building.

PROMOTING YOUR EVENT

You are solely responsible for the marketing of your event, but we like to help where we can. Please drop us a flyer for our community board and send us any copy or imagery we can use to post on our e-news. To share posts on our social pages, just tag in your Sprout Hub (Calderwood Valley @sprouthubcalderwood or Alkimos Vista @sprouthubalkimos) when you talk about your event on Facebook or Instagram.
